At Kid Angel, it is our goal to offer introductory programming classes to under-served children and adults who normally wouldn't have access to them.
We offer self-paced courses that help students learn basic yet fundamental programming concepts. The exercises are in the form of fun games and puzzles that get harder as the students progress; these exercises encourage students to analyze the puzzles and to break them down, step-by-step, until they reach a solution.
The goal is to familiarize them with programming concepts that are a common denominator in most programming languages. Students learn about iterations, loops, conditionals, debugging, and more.
We have successfully established courses at The San Diego Public Library (downtown), The Monarch School, and the Salvation Army Kroc Center.
